Individual Education Plans
Students in the Special Remedial programme receive support shaped around an Individual Education Plan.
Academic Intervention
The programme supports students performing more than one grade level below expectations through targeted academic work.
Resource Room Support
Two teachers in the Kindergarten Department assist children in Reading, Mathematics, and Phonics through classroom and pull-out support.
Full School Participation
Students continue to access Physical Education, Music and Movement, and the wider extra-curricular life of the school.
The Special Remedial programme at Queens Preparatory School supports students who are assessed as performing more than one grade level below expectations and who are therefore unable to meet the academic requirements of the regular classroom setting. Support is largely academic in nature and is delivered through an Individual Education Plan, while Resource Room Services in the Kindergarten Department provide remedial help in Reading, Mathematics, and Phonics for children from Kindergarten to Grade 3.
