Jamaica Early Childhood Guide

Content and delivery are directed by the Jamaica Early Childhood Curriculum Guide for children entering at age three.

Movement and Expression

Music and Movement and Physical Education help children grow in confidence, coordination, and joyful participation.

Swimming Included

Swimming is part of the programme alongside the core early-years experience at Queens Prep.

The Tiny Tots Programme caters to children who will be three years of age by January 31st in any given year. Children remain in this programme for one year and then progress to the Reception class which caters to four year olds. The QPS Tiny Tots programme is housed in a specially prepared and quite delightful room in the Kindergarten Department. Content and delivery are directed by the Jamaica Early Childhood Curriculum Guide, and to enhance its goals and learning outcomes, the programme also includes Swimming, Music and Movement, and Physical Education.
